The Cocoon Chronicles - Chapter 2

Write a NEW story.

Welcome back!

So now that we’ve gotten to know each other a little better...LOL...I want to ask you a question: If you could rewrite your story ANY way you wanted, in a way that FEELS more like the woman you are (or are on your way to) becoming...what would that sound like?

No restrictions, no holds barred....YOU get to make all the rules, YOU get to call the shots....FOR REAL!

Let you imagination go wild!

Do not....I NOT....edit yourself!

Let’s back up...

First....go shopping and buy yourself a new journal. One that speaks to your’ll know it when you see it! I trust you. ;-)

Buy a sage bundle while you’re at it.....we’ve got some cleansing to do!

When you get home, pick a spot to write in....a dedicated spot that will become your sacred space for writing, meditating, reflecting. Make it as pretty as you want!

Add some items that are meaningful, some crystals (if that’s your jam), a candle.

Remove anything that doesn’t vibe with the work you’re gonna be doing here.

Remember, this is YOUR sacred space.

Then, sage it up, baby!!!!

Light your sage bundle and clear the energy around your new sacred space. Sage (and Palo Santo too) are great tools to remove negative, stagnant energy. Think of it as a deep cleaning for your space.

*tip---be sure to leave a window open so the unwanted energy has a place to GO*

Then, when all that is done, settle down to write.

To start, I suggest “stream on consciousness” writing....simply put, that means you just write until you can’t write anymore. Don’t think, don’t edit, just write.

This allows you to sift through the gunk. Much in the same way the sage removes stagnant energy....this type of free writing removes the residue that’s been stuck on the edges and lets your thoughts have a clear channel to travel through.

This is a great way to start your day, BTW!

You could make this part of your morning ritual.

You may not shift into clarity right off the have a lot of residue to remove, right? But over time, you might start to get a clearer idea of what you like, what you don’t...your dreams, your desires. Start broad & refine as you go.

For example, I’ve been dreaming of living in Italy for as long as I can remember. I always thought it would stay a dream, but now....I’m starting to entertain the idea that maybe I COULD do it! Why not? I’ve got several friends who have packed up their lives in the States & followed their hearts to the other side of the world!

So, my writing has included exploring what that could look like. Where would I want to live? Could I bring my cats? How would that work? Could I go on a student Visa? What would the steps be for that?

Baby steps, girlies, baby steps.

ANY movement is getting you closer to the life of your dreams.

Sometimes change requires massive action....but not always.

Sometimes you need to MOVE just to start the process and you’ll be surprised how the Universe shows up to meet you once you DECIDE to do the work.

Are you holding onto old stories about yourself?

“I could never leave my family”

“I’m too old”

“That’s silly”

“Nothing ever works out for me”

Whatever it is...whatever your old story is, take a step back & REALLY look at it.

*How does it make you feel?

*Do you REALLY believe it or has it become your story just because it’s what you’ve always said/believed?

*Do you want to hang onto it?

*How is it serving you?

YOU get to choose!

One of my fave Abraham Hicks quotes is, “A belief is just a thought you keep thinking.”

Want to change your beliefs?

Change your MIND!

Change your THOUGHTS!

We’re gonna talk about mindset next time.

I can’t wait to share how changing my mindset completely TRANSFORMED my life...and allowed me to open up to the possibilities of making life altering changes in my life.

Shoot me some pics of the journals you find...& start writing! ox
