I Hope You Live a Life of Wonder

If you could step back in time and speak to your 4 year old self, what would you tell her?

What words of wisdom would you impart to your mini-me?

More importantly, what could she teach YOU?

* Would she remind you of the joys of living fully & completely in the present moment?

* In that sliver of time where the past & future don’t exist?

* Where absolutely ANYTHING that your mind can imagine can come true?

Would she remind you of the importance of play, laughter, and silliness? How it feeds your soul?

Somewhere along the way, we forget that innate wisdom. Personally, I believe that we never lose it, but the older we get, the harder it is to access. We’re taught to conform & follow the rules: critical thinking is not nurtured, as we learn to recite lessons by rote, rather than developing our creativity and sense of wonder.

We learn to live on auto-pilot and accept a life of mediocrity.

As young girls, we’re taught to behave, be quiet, stay small, not draw attention to ourselves, put the needs of  everyone else ahead of our own.

I don’t know about you, but that’s not how my mini-me rolls!

When I was a little girl, I was loud, I soaked up all the attention I could get...and when that was all I could get, I still wanted more, I wanted to do what I wanted, when I wanted----rules were not for me. I was bold, I was ballsy, and I was full of wonder. I wanted to soak every last, sweet drop out of life!

I've recently reconnected with this little badass & she's rekindled that desire for a juicy life!

I've done the safe route, now I'm ready for some adventure.

What sounds more fun to you?
